SEXUALITY. this is just a general note that tim is gay (of course, inclusive of non-binary people and trans men). he's not interested in women at all. he is closeted, so unless your character knows him very well (generally speaking, they do not!), they would not know this, although they're free to have their suspicions. he has a lot of intimacy problems and the requisite degree of shame about this stuff, coming from a rural southern background and having been in the army under DADT.

always. tim isn't exactly flirty, but he's prone to making a lot of bare-faced innuendos and straight up talking about his dick in public, in professional situations, to colleagues and people he barely knows. he often uses this kind of thing to disarm people. flirting does not necessarily indicate interest from tim, although it's a pretty good gauge.

because of his aversion to committed relationships in general, if he's in a relationship with someone then it's safe to say he really, really likes them, in which case he absolutely would not cheat on them. otherwise, he could definitely be used to facilitate cheating, and depending on the circumstances mightn't be opposed even if he knows there's cheating involved.

sure! tim's not hugely picky, although if there's a difference he's more likely to be interested in older men than younger men. as a rule, i won't write anything with any characters under the age of 21.

FIGHTING AND INJURING. both are cool but i expect this would have to be plotted out to some extent. it's also worth mentioning that tim is an excellent shot. he's a trained army ranger and more than capable of holding his own in a physical fight.
MAGIC / POWERS. obviously, tim's canon doesn't include anything supernatural at all. he is a huge nerd, though, so would probably just be very excited about this stuff. however, i understand that for people writing powered characters, playing the same "magic is real?!" threads over and over can get boring, so if you want to handwave for the sake of variety, let me know and we can talk about how it panned out!
MINDREADING. god please do this and also message me if you want so i can give you a more detailed rundown of exactly what's going on in his walnut sized brain.
SKILLS. he has some! as a sniper, he's familiar with handling various types of guns including sniper rifles, and is a lethally accurate shot. like, i cannot overstate how good a shot he is. he is very good. as an army ranger, he also has a bunch of skills including: improvisational medical training, SERE (survival, evasion, resistance and escape, so basically what to do if you get captured by the enemy), parachuting, leadership training, airfield seizure, special reconnaissance, personnel recovery, and clandestine insertion. he's also been trained as a US marshal, which includes law enforcement, fugitive hunting and prisoner transportation, among other things. he is also fluent in spanish, and can speak enough pashto, dari, kurdish and arabic to get by.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS / TRIGGERS. tim grew up in texas and joined the army when he was 18. he's used to hearing a lot of quite offensive shit, including homophobia, and may even join in if he's surrounded by other soldiers as a sort of defence mechanism. that being said, though, he doesn't take kindly to homophobia directed squarely at him from people who know he's gay. he has zero time generally for transphobes, racists, and general bigots.

CONTENT WARNINGS. interacting with tim is likely to include mention of guns, death, police shootings, and extensive military-related trauma and discussion of PTSD. it won't be excessively gory, but violence might come up all the same. tim's father was also verbally and eventually physically abusive to both tim and his mother. i will warn for all these topics should they come up, but feel free to opt out down below if you would prefer they not come up at all.
BACKTAGGING. always! i function by backtagging so i more than understand if things get picked up and dropped here and there. handwaving stuff that drags on for too long will always and forever be an option!
THREADHOPPING. sure! if it's (non-private) texting conversations, it's always fine, but i'd prefer if you asked first if it's a log thread!
FOURTHWALLING. basically, i would prefer not to.png! if your character is that type, like deadpool, then that's more than fine, but i don't really want to write threads that boil down to 'oh my god, justified is my favourite show!' or whatever because they stop being interesting pretty quickly.
